Extreme Dot to Dot World of Dots: Architecture
Extreme Dot to Dot World of Dots: Architecture features 24 designs of iconic buildings and structures, from One World Trade Center, to the Dancing House in Prague, to the London Tower Bridge. At the back of the book you will find a key with details such as the location, year of completion, architect, or other known information for each architectural feature. Puzzles range from 300 to over 1,800 dots, with some puzzles even covering a two-page spread.
What Sets the World of Dots Apart
Unique to the World of Dots series is that the double-page puzzles are set on a fold-out page, rather than running across the seam of the book, making them much more attractive and easy to complete. Additionally, unlike other dot-to-dot books, the lines in World of Dots: Architecture sometimes overlap each other, creating enclosed spaces that highlight the design and which can be more easily colored in. World of Dots: Architecture will provide you with an enjoyable survey of modern and historic architecture worldwide.
What Dot to Dots do for the Brain
Dot to dots can simultaneously exercise and relax your brain. As you work to complete each dot to dot, both your left and right brain will be engaged while you practice mapping and concentration skills. Recommended for ages 8 and up, World of Dots: Architecture is not for the faint-hearted, and not just for children. Many adults, myself included, find these books both provoking and relaxing, a treat for sluggish minds and weary bodies.
Please note: World of Dots: Architecture comes from a secular point of view. So our Christian friends should be aware that there is, for example, a dot-to-dot illustrating a Buddha structure, a Mayan temple, and so forth. If you or your student are uncomfortable completing such pages, feel free to use the key in the back to identify and skip any dot-to-dots that you are not comfortable with.
