Chasing Fireflies
Encourage cognitive development and engage in healthy active play with Chasing Fireflies. This unique game of hide-and-seek uses 10 bemused plastic fireflies that gently flash. Played indoors or out, in broad daylight or at night, the fun begins after an adult hides the fireflies. The children then race to find either blue or green fireflies, there are five of each color. Once found, they are placed into each their own plastic mason jar. Whoever finds all five of their colored fireflies first wins.

Please note: When first removed from the box, sometimes the fireflies will not immediately light up, even after pulling out the plastic tab from the battery compartment, because the batteries were jostled during shipping. In this case, open the battery compartment and adjust the batteries slightly. This resolves the issue completely, and you should not need to repeat this, even when the fireflies are used in active, energetic play.

Overall, this game was a huge hit!...Each kiddo rated the game a solid TEN on a scale of 1-10...This game is certainly going to be pulled out again and again around here on those long summer nights. We are so ready for summer to begin and a game of Chasing Fireflies from Timberdoodle was the perfect start to summer!
